Broken & Restored Ladies Retreat
September 23 6:30-8:30PM | September 24 8:30AM-NOON
This Friday evening through Saturday morning event will bring hope to every heart as we see how God restores our brokenness. Friday evening 6:30-8:30. Saturday morning 8:30-Noon. The cost is $5 per lady.
Speaker: Daphene Phillips
Bio: I became a Christian the summer of 1972, married my soulmate, Jerry Phillips, the fall of 1972, after a very brief courtship. We were married for 45 ½ years. My husband went to be with the Lord April 16, 2018.
I am from Conway, S. C. I love living near the beach. Going to the beach and hanging out at the pool are two of my favorite things to do. I served the Lord beside my husband in the ministry for around 40 years. God has blessed me to be able to serve in many different areas of ministry: preschool, children, youth and adults.
We have two wonderful children, Heather Howard(married to Jay) works at Conway Medical Center in Conway and is very actively involved in her church “The Rock”. Dr. Josh Phillips (married to Tracy) pastor of Memorial Baptist Church in Norwood, N. C.
We are also blessed with three very handsome grandsons, Will Phillips, age 20 and is on staff at “The Rock” church in Conway. Jaxon Howard, age 15 is homeschooled and also very involved in his church. Lawson Phillips, age 12, is homeschooled and very involved in his church as well. They are truly this Nana’s heart!
Last but not least, is my fur baby, Bella. She rules the house. Bella is very special to all of us, as she was given to me as a present by my late husband, Jerry his last Christmas with us.
I am so grateful for the opportunities of service that the Lord has provided for me and His given me the ability to do that in which He calls. I love the Lord and can’t wait to see what He has in store next.
